North Carolina Community Colleges Innovating in Academic Operations

North Carolina Community Colleges have been searching for innovative ways to take advantage of the digital transformation that higher education has undergone over the last several years. It’s understood that how community colleges react to this digital transformation will determine if they are able to set themselves, and their students, up for success in the long term.

Join Cleveland Community College’s Chief Information Officer, Jonathan Davis, and Isothermal Community College’s Chief Information Officer, Robby Walters, as they share their experiences of how the North Carolina Community College system is responding to these changes and opportunities. A Coursedog integrated academic operations expert will also share insights from working with hundreds of higher education institutions, and we’ll hear from webinar participants during a dedicated Q&A session to gain their perspectives.

These digital transformation experts will discuss how this movement has impacted a few key areas on campus:

  • The academic data that’s key for identifying barriers to student success
  • How data-informed course scheduling can improve student completion and retention
  • Where curriculum management processes hit roadblocks that prevent institutions from responding quickly to student course demand
